The first bit of news we'd like to share is that we already accepting band applications. Click here to register for free.
The second bit of news is that the SOUNDGREEN private beta will be available in October. In the interest of delivering a great customer experience and making sure that we can address any feedback that comes along the way, we're going to start small and grow iteratively in terms of the volumes of people that we invite to participate in the beta.

SoundGreen: Born out of a love for music & the artists who create it. Realizing there had to be a better, perhaps more efficient compensation system, multiple iterations of "fair compensation" were contemplated, modeled and picked apart.
Focusing on incentives for artists to continually create new material, a working model has been chosen:
artists interacting directly with their fans in a subscription.
The artist develops an intimate knowledge of their patrons and visa versa.
SoundGreen leverages the relationships to benefit all parties of the community:
- -Working with fans to promote their favorite artist
- -Working with and the behalf of artists to develop tours and license their music
Best of all... the artists are paid directly by their fans: further incentive for fans to help the community grow and flourish.
SoundGreen strives to payout at least 60% of all earnings to the creators of the art. Some companies claim 50/50, but it ends up closer to 30% for the artist. Others pay out once up front and get fat off all the creator's work, keeping in excess of 90% of payments collected.
We want to develop artists who live off their music, we don't want artists to be in debt to us! Just to prove it, we aim to give away in excess of $1.1 million in "bonuses" to our affiliated artists in the first two years. This is on top of an estimated $2.5 million in "regular" artist earnings.
Trust me, we hope we can give out more... the only limiting factor is the artists and their ability to connect with their fans.

Don’t see your favorite musician or band? Invite them and automatically earn members only status when they become part of SG. Tell us about them. We will personally contact them and tell them about SG. Again…YOU automatically earn members only status when they join.
